Cosmetic dentistry for a radiant smile

We have always espoused a metal free mouth. Mercury is classified by the FDA as a Class 2 poison. Removing mercury fillings not only looks better, but strengthens your teeth and are healthier.

Teeth Whitening

One of the most common complaints we receive involves the brightness of our patients’ smiles. For this reason, we offer professional take home teeth whitening. Teeth whitening is one of the most basic and cost-effective ways to improve your smile.

We now utilize a very effective, and easy, two step process.

We first see you for 1 hour in office, use ZOOM XP Pro whitening. This is a concentrated whitening gel that is painted on your teeth for an instant boost in whiteness. You literally brush it off after 30 minutes time.

We then take impressions and fabricate custom home whitening trays, and provide you with ZOOM NiteWhite 22% whitening gel.

This two step process is without doubt the most effective method to whiten your teeth.

Porcelain Crowns

We try very hard NOT to do crowns, as they grind your tooth down into a peg. However, if we have to replace a “defective” crown, it will always be a very conservative, well done, metal free crown. But as always, our effort goes into NOT doing crowns, but rather onlays.

Dental Veneers

Porcelain veneers are very conservative thin shells that replace defective, discolored, or broken front teeth. Almost like a fake fingernail, they are created to be the perfect color and shape that you select for your teeth. They then can be chemically adhered/bonded to your teeth.

We make it a point in my practice to not recommend veneers to anyone for looks or cosmetics. We only recommend veneers for structural and/or health purposes. That is, if teeth are so crowded that keeping them clean is difficult, then straightening our teeth then allows you to clean your teeth, and prevent decay and periodontal disease from occurring.

One of the many great benefits of porcelain veneers is that they can be used to fix teeth that are severely discolored, worn down, chipped or broken, misaligned, uneven, irregularly shaped, or even gapped.
