Tooth Colored Fillings
Tooth colored fillings are a fantastic option for those areas of a tooth that need repair, and involve a small section of a tooth. We utilize in my opinion, the best restorative material available today, that provides a virtually invisible restoration to the naked eye, which lasts an incredibly long period of time. Most often, these fillings can now be completed without the need for anesthetic, and with “drill-less” dentistry.
Crowns
If your teeth are damaged and in need of strengthening and support, dental crowns can be an effective treatment option. A crown, also called a cap, is a custom-made restoration that repairs and strengthens a tooth that has fractured, has a large cavity, has an old filling that has failed, or has had root canal therapy.
Fabricated of all-porcelain for strength, endurance and appearance, a crown completely covers the tooth, restoring and protecting. Crowns can also be used for cosmetic purposes, enhancing the appearance of a tooth that is discolored or misshapen.
Bridges
A dental bridge is a custom-made false tooth or teeth permanently placed between two healthy teeth. The bridge is held in place by porcelain crowns placed on the healthy teeth on each side of space to be filled. A bridge created by a cosmetic dentist is completely metal-free. As a result, such a bridge absorbs light, creating a natural-looking smile. (Bridges made of porcelain on metal actually reflect light, creating an “unnatural” look for the tooth or teeth.) Bridges reduce the risk of gum disease, help correct some bite problems and help improve speech.
Bonding
Bonding is a phenomenal way to restore teeth. It is probably the most conservative method we use. Most of the time, little or no tooth is required to be ground down. That way, there is almost no damage to your natural tooth, and almost completely reversible. It is a very long lasting option; however, this method cannot be used in all situations, and sometimes, when a little more tooth needs to be removed, porcelain veneers may be the way to restore your teeth.
Teeth Whitening
In office whitening
Many people achieve a whiter, brighter smile with our simple smile whitening procedures. They are safe and relatively quick. And unlike over-the-counter products, our prescription level products are designed to treat your teeth and gums gently, while achieving the whitest smile possible. If you’re like most of our patients, you want the simplest way possible to whiten your smile. Our revolutionary whitening systems whiten your teeth safely and predictably. By the end of the appointment, most patients have achieved a seven to nine shade difference in their smile. Best of all, the single appointment procedure is quick and easy, allowing you to get back to your busy life with a brilliant white smile the same day!
Take home options
Home smile whitening begins with a careful impression of your teeth. Those impressions are turned into plaster molds, which are used to create clear thin plastic trays, custom cut to fit your upper and lower teeth comfortably. When you come back to the office to get your whitening trays, we will explain to you how to apply the whitening gel to the trays and insert them over your teeth. For most guests, a few weeks is all it takes to achieve a dramatically whiter smile. The shade difference will amaze you!
